The project involves the rehabilitation of the main building of the masía, consisting of a ground floor and first floor, as well as the attached ground floor annex. The current state of the construction is highly deteriorated, with damaged roofs and floor slabs. The exterior walls—made of stone, adobe bricks, and rammed earth—show deformations and cracks, which require partial reconstruction. We recommend renewing the walls with a foundation and pillar structure to ensure the building’s stability.
The design preserves the original volume but introduces a more modern and open interior layout. The new windows will be larger, allowing for increased natural light. The roof will be preserved with its original slope, using a wooden structure and ceramic tiles to maintain the traditional aesthetic of the masía.
For the exterior façade, natural colors such as earth and sand will be used, allowing the building to blend harmoniously with its surroundings. The annexes, currently deteriorated and overgrown with vegetation, will be rehabilitated with a unified design, using stone masonry and larger openings.
The goal is to recover the essence of the masía, minimizing the visual impact on the landscape and respecting the natural environment through the use of native plants and trees.

RESPECT FOR THE ORIGINAL ESSENCE
In our project for the masía, one of the fundamental pillars has been the utmost respect for the existing volume. We preserve the original structure as a living testimony to its history and character, understanding that every stone and every proportion are integral to its identity.
Even the annex, conceived as a functional extension, has been built in stone, integrating sensitively with the whole. This choice not only reinforces the aesthetic coherence but also establishes a natural dialogue with the materiality of the original masía, creating both visual and emotional continuity between the old and the new.
