Situated in a small development next to Puigcerdà, in a privileged environment that offers tranquility and beautiful views of the Cadí mountain range, the plot is almost completely flat, rectangular, and oriented to the south.
The Guils House is designed with a focus on simplicity and authenticity, reflecting a deep connection with the natural surroundings. Our design is based on the use of local materials and traditional techniques that not only respect the history and character of the region but also optimize the integration of the home with its surrounding landscape.
For the façades of the house, we employed Llívia stone, thermally treated wood, and iron—a combination that not only integrates perfectly with the environment but also offers an aesthetic that merges rustic and modern elements. The Llívia stone, with its distinctive texture and tones, combines with the warmth of the thermally treated wood to create a façade that reflects the local tradition. The iron, applied selectively, adds a contemporary touch and highlights key design elements, achieving a harmonious balance between the classic and the current.

GARDEN AND PORCH IN SYNC WITH LA CERDANYA
The key to this project has been to find the perfect balance between regulatory restrictions and the client’s needs. The choice of a simple geometry has allowed for harmonious integration with regulatory limitations while maintaining an elegant design suited for modern living.
The choice of design shape has allowed us to incorporate a spacious garden and a porch that extend the living space outdoors. This porch, designed to maximize views of La Cerdanya and provide a cozy space for relaxation and enjoyment of the surroundings, is the heart of the outdoor home.
