In one of the most peaceful areas of Barcelona, we carried out a complete renovation of an apartment. This project is located in a privileged setting, surrounded by a park and a spectacular communal garden, which offers two swimming pools, a tennis court, and a football field, creating an ideal environment for leisure and enjoyment.
The main challenge of this renovation was to transform the darker areas of the apartment into bright and welcoming spaces. To achieve this, we opened up the foyer and kitchen to other rooms, generating more natural light circulation and a sense of spaciousness and connection throughout the home.
The finishes were selected with meticulous attention to detail, prioritizing tranquility and comfort. The oak parquet flooring provides a natural warmth and understated elegance, which is complemented by oak furniture. The walls, painted in soft greyish tones, add a touch of modernity and serenity to the overall ambiance.
One of the most distinctive elements of this renovation is the restoration of the Catalan vaulted ceilings in the living and dining rooms. These ceilings have been restored, left exposed, plastered, and painted, thus highlighting the architectural richness and character of the space.

A SYMPHONY OF TEXTURES AND LIGHTS
When designing spaces, the combination of wood, fabrics, and indirect lighting emerges as a symphony of elements that transform the atmosphere of any environment. Wood, with its natural warmth and rich texture, provides a solid and welcoming foundation that resonates with timeless elegance. Its ability to adapt to various styles and its durability make it an essential element in our interior design.
By integrating fabrics, we add a dimension of softness and comfort that complements the sturdiness of wood. The textures and colors of the fabrics bring depth and warmth, creating a sense of luxury and well-being that invites relaxation. Fabric finishes, from curtains to upholstery, act as elements that soften and enrich the space, adding a layer of sophistication and comfort.
Indirect lighting plays a crucial role in highlighting the beauty of these materials. By projecting soft and diffused light, it avoids glare and accentuates the textures of the wood and the richness of the fabrics. This type of lighting creates an immersive and serene environment, emphasizing the interaction between elements and defining the character of the space.
