Located in an exclusive development in Vall Llobrega, this residence is oriented to the south and takes advantage of a slope that descends toward the back of the plot. The house is situated at the highest point of the land, leaving a large front space where the pool, garden, and paddle court are located. The main design aims to establish a seamless connection between the house and its exterior environment, opening the rooms to the garden and facilitating direct visual communication with the surrounding nature.

The ground floor houses all the main living areas, while the basement contains auxiliary areas such as parking, storage, facilities, and service areas. The layout of the building consists of two connected volumes: one dedicated to the day area, including the entrance, living room, kitchen, and dining room, and the other designated for the rest area, with the bedrooms and their bathrooms. Each room offers a unique perspective of the garden, creating more intimate and welcoming spaces.

The façade of the house combines large dry stone walls from the area with an upper band finished with lime mortar. Natural colors, such as sand and stone, harmoniously integrate the house into its surroundings.

The internal layout of the spaces is open and contemporary, generating views of the various areas of the garden and courtyards from every pathway. The outdoor paving in the more rustic garden areas and vehicle access points is made of tinted concrete and solid sauló. The interior flooring and the flooring in the outdoor living areas are unified with the same natural stone, providing a serene and harmonious continuity to the architectural ensemble.

SIMPLE AND PERMEABLE GEOMETRY

The house, based on two rectangles, transforms into a permeable geometry through courtyards and setbacks along its perimeter. This design creates small contemplative gardens, porches, and covered outdoor areas, generating a spatial continuity that naturally flows into the garden and the nearby surroundings.

The four-pitched roofs allow for increased height in the main rooms, exposing the wooden ceilings that add warmth and character to the interior. The flat roofs of the porches are clad in wooden slats, adding a cozy touch to the outdoor spaces.

“The chosen materials, such as lime plaster on the walls, dry stone walls, and oak wood slats, create a warm and welcoming atmosphere.”

“Every corner invites moments of celebration and relaxation.”
