Located on Casanova Street in Barcelona, this renovation project focuses on revitalizing the apartment. It restores and highlights the original architectural elements. The main goal is to give the space a unique character. The exposed beams are painted a greenish hue. This color is also reflected in the furniture, creating a cohesive and harmonious aesthetic. .
A key aspect of the renovation is the opening of a load-bearing wall. This creates more space and brings greater natural light to the living areas. The change not only enhances the sense of openness but also improves visual connection between different zones. As a result, the home feels more functional and welcoming.
Regarding the finishes, some rooms feature exposed Catalan vault ceilings and brick walls, adding a modern and textured touch. The green from the kitchen extends to the bathrooms, expressed differently in each one. Each space is dressed with floors that interact: the elegance of herringbone parquet and the charm of hydraulic tiles.
“The kitchen is designed as a central space. The exposed vault and natural light enhance the sense of openness and balance.”

“A space where architecture engages in a dialogue with time.”

“Lighting highlights the original Catalan vault and creates a warm atmosphere, adding depth and character to the space.”
