The comprehensive renovation of a private apartment located in an enviable spot at the Baqueira/Beret ski resort, in the beautiful Aran Valley. This charming mountain retreat is just a few meters from the cable car that provides direct access to the ski slopes, making it the perfect place for winter sports enthusiasts.
Our main objective in this renovation was to transform the apartment into a space that maximizes spaciousness and comfort, despite its small size and complicated layout. To achieve this, we decided to open up all the common areas, creating a sense of flow and connection between the different parts of the home. By removing unnecessary divisions, we have allowed natural light to flood every corner, enhancing the feeling of spaciousness and allowing residents to enjoy panoramic views of the alpine surroundings.
One of the standout features of this renovation is the cladding of the walls with old, rustic wood that adds unparalleled warmth to the apartment. This material not only adds authentic and cozy character but also creates an atmosphere that invites rest and relaxation after a day full of mountain activities.
Continuing with the use of this same wood, we designed and built custom bunk beds that integrate perfectly into the overall design of the apartment. These bunk beds are not only functional and space-saving, but they also contribute to the rustic and cozy aesthetic of the home. Every detail has been carefully considered to ensure maximum comfort and practicality without compromising on style and elegance.
